During the School of Medicine's annual curriculum colloquium, which was held last month, two WISER faculty members were honored for outstanding contributions to medical education.  Dr. Susan Dunmire, who is an emergency medicine physician received the Sheldon Adler Award for Innovation in Medical Education.  The award recognizes the individual that demonstrated innovation in medical education.  Dr. Dunmire teaches the 3rd Year Critical Care Medicine Course, 4th Year Medical Student Emergency Medicine Clerkship and Get Ready for Residence courses at WISER.

Dr. Adam Tobias, also an Emergency Medicine physician, received the Clinical Educator of the Year Award.  This award recognizes faculty who consistently provide outstanding clinical education in a third- or fourth-year elective course.  Dr. Tobias is an instructor for the Difficult Airway Management for Emergency Medicine Residents and the Get Ready for Residency Course.  WISER would like to congratulate both of these individuals for their awards.
