Alice Blazeck is recipient of the Chancellor Distinguised Teaching Award

WISER instructor, Alice Blazeck DNSc RN, Assistant Professor School of Nursing is a recipient of the University of Pittsburgh Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award. This award is in recognition of teaching excellence in her work with low and high fidelity simulation. Innovations included deliberate perfect practice videos for learner driver cost effective competencies and creation of a web based platform supporting an interactive eRecord. She is also the recipient of The Nightingale Award of Pennsylvania, the Nursing Excellence in Teaching and Technology Award and the Dean's Distinguished Teaching Award from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Nursing. Dr Blazeck has presented her work nationally and internationally, most recently at Capitol Medical University, Beijing.
