WISER Participates in CERMUSA Conference

WISER recently participated in the First Annual Rural Telehealth and Advanced Technologies Conference held on the campus of St. Francis University. This conference was hosted by the Center of Excellence for Remote and Medically Underserved Areas (CERMUSA). A diverse group of speakers presented on a wide range of topics.

Dr. Paul Phrampus presented on the Ft. Sam Whisky Combat Medical Simulation Training Quantitative Integration Enhancement Program.
Ms. Brenda Guzic presented the Medical Simulation at a Distance project, which is a joint collaboration between CERMUSA and WISER, utilizing each center's expertise in remote education and healthcare simulation.
The conference was a great success and WISER looks forward to continue collaboration with CERMUSA and its partners in improving healthcare through simulation and tele-presence
