Beth Sanchez was honored by Pittsburgh Magazine, WQED and PUMP as one of Pittsburgh's "40 Under 40" on November 10, 2006. The award celebrates 40 people under the age of 40 whose creativity, vision, and passion enrich the Pittsburgh region. Beth was recognized for her professional achievements as well as community involvement.
Beth is responsible for WISER's external relations and organizing WISER's participation in organizations such as Advanced Initiatives in Medical Simulation (AIMS). Beth's primary responsibility is Project Manager for UPMC Strategic Business Initiatives (SimMedical) which is designed to take the knowledge and expertise of WISER and expand the patient safety mission of WISER to other healthcare professionals around the world.
