WISER and University of Pittsburgh celebrate Homecoming 2006
WISER @ Pitt Homecoming

WISER and the University of Pittsburgh celebrated Pitt's 2006 Homecoming with alumni, students and friends on October 21st, 2006 at the Rutgers vs. Pitt game at Heinz field. The University set up a tent pavilion housing demonstrations and booths from the AAAC, Alumnae Council, Biological Sciences, Dental Medicine, Education, Engineering, Family Weekend, 50's Reunion Group, General Information Sciences, Law, Medicine, Metro Pittsburgh Pitt Club, Nursing, Panther Club, Pharmacy, Pitt Band Alumni Council, Pitt Career Network, The Pitt News, Public Health, Public and International Affairs, Theater Arts and WISER. Simulation Specialist Joshua Franczyk manned the WISER booth and provided expertise in demonstrating the techniques and procedures taught at WISER. As is typical, the manikin generated great interest by the participants. WISER appreciates the opportunity this event provided to expand the community awareness of the importance of simulation education in healthcare today.
