Beth Kuzminsky recently joined the staff at WISER as the Curriculum Project Development Manager focusing on the development of professional nursing courses. Beth came to WISER from the Center for Quality Improvement and Innovation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) where she was the staff associate. Beth has been a nurse at UPMC since 1996. Her professional career as a nurse has consisted of open heart surgical nursing, IV specialty nursing, nursing education and most recently focuses on patient safety, innovations in healthcare, patient centered care and nursing simulation curriculum development for WISER. Ms. Kuzminsky is a well known patient safety advocate both locally throughout UPMC and nationally.
Beth was a featured speaker at First Annual WISER Symposium on Nursing Simulation where she presented 'Curricular Innovations for Professional Nursing'.
Beth received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master's degree in Nursing Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
