There are two parts to the certification program:
− Part I: The didactic component requires a computer with an Internet connection. The participant must complete the computer-based learning, including scenarios and written examination. This component takes an estimated 45 to 60 minutes to complete. Each participant MUST print the certificate indicating successful completion of Part I. Contact WISER at 412-648-6073 to schedule an appointment to complete the skills component. Appointments will be scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm. The printed certificate MUST be brought to WISER to complete Part II.
− Part II: The skills portion is required to be performed independently at WISER. Each participant will be assigned to a simulator-equipped manikin. The skills component can be completed on average within one hour.
