Description: |
This is a highly interactive course which focuses on the use of human patient simulators (HPS) in medical education. Specifically, it examines how HPS is currently used at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and to envision how it can be employed in the future. Students explore the realm of simulation available at the Winter Institute of Simulation Education and Research (WISER) and see some of the development efforts there and other local facilities.
