Description: |
This half day course will prepare medicine preceptors to teach residents about joint aspiration and injection. Participants will learn the evidence and be able to teach indications, contraindications, recognition and management of complications as well as how to obtain a full informed consent for joint aspiration and injection procedures. Participants will be able to practice JAI on realistic models of the shoulder, knee and elbow and receive feedback based upon direct observation of their techniques. |
