Description: 
Goal:
This course provides the student nurse anesthetist with the opportunity to integrate NURSAN 2720 course content into the anesthetic management of patients presenting with or experiencing intraoperative cardiac, respiratory, endocrine, neuromuscular, hepatic, and neurological problems.

Objectives:
At the end of the session the participant will:
  1. Utilize principles of cardiac, respiratory, endocrine, renal, GI, hepatic, and neurological pathophysiology to appropriately administer anesthesia for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  2. Assess patients and alter anesthetic based upon patient condition.
  3. Utilize critical thinking and research based rationale to manage patients with specified diseases.
